CV & Motivational letter guidelines

Your CV should include:

  • Your highest completed degree, with field, institution, and date awarded (or expected completion date, if still in progress)
  • Title of your master’s thesis
  • Research experience, publications, or conference contributions, if applicable
  • Relevant methodological and technical skills
  • Language skills

Motivational letter: 

Prof. Wagner welcomes a freely composed motivational letter (max. two pages), but asks that it address the following questions:

  • What interests you in the project?
  • What makes you well suited for the project (e.g., relevant coursework, research experience, or technical and methodological skills)?
  • What are your longer-term career goals?
